Ecce recommends Devi Ever Guitar pedals

Distortion pedals are fun. However, very few distortion pedals/overdrive pedals/wild octave-down stuttering effect pedals are musical as well as fun. I used to own an MXR Blue Box pedal which used to degrade quite randomly in a very playful way, but, generally speaking, all the Big Muffs, Rats and DS-1's pale in comparison to the inspiring, multi-purpose, sonically diverse and most importantly playable effects that Devi Ever makes.

In fact, I'm such a fan of his wares that I have adopted a Devi Ever custom Shoe Gazer pedal as the Ecce logo (see above) and I'm using it as the artwork on the Control EP. Devi has very kindly agreed to this, and has even put a sample of the Ecce song Monuments on the Shoe Gazer page.

Shown above are the three of his units that I own. All of them do lovely, lovely, noisy things to all sorts of sound sources. Lovely.
